The present invention provides novel isolated polynucleotides and small molecule target polypeptides encoded by the polynucleotides. Antibodies that immunospecifically bind to a novel small molecule target polypeptide or any derivative, variant, mutant or fragment of that polypeptide, polynucleotide or antibody are disclosed, as are methods in which the small molecule target polypeptide, polynucleotide and antibody are utilized in the detection and treatment of a broad range of pathological states. More specifically, the present invention discloses methods of using recombinantly expressed and/or endogenously expressed proteins in various screening procedures for the purpose of identifying therapeutic antibodies and therapeutic small molecules associated with diseases. The invention further discloses therapeutic, diagnostic and research methods for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders involving any one of these novel human nucleic acids and proteins.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux polynucléotides isolés et des polypeptides cibles de petite molécule codés par lesdits polynucléotides. L'invention concerne également des anticorps qui se lient de manière immunospécifique à un nouveau polypeptide cible de petite molécule ou à un dérivé quelconque, à une variante, un mutant ou un fragment de ce polypeptide et à un polynucléotide ou à un anticorps ainsi que des méthodes dans lesquelles le polypeptide cible de petite molécule, le polynucléotide et l'anticorps sont utilisés pour détecter et traiter une large gamme d'états pathologiques. De manière plus spécifique, l'invention concerne des méthodes permettant d'utiliser des protéines exprimées par recombinaison et/ou de manière endogène dans des procédure de criblage variées à des fins d'identification d'anticorps et de petites molécules thérapeutiques associés à des maladies. L'invention concerne enfin des méthodes de thérapie, de diagnostic et de recherche permettant de diagnostiquer, de traiter et de prévenir des troubles impliquant l'un quelconque de ces nouveaux protéines et acides nucléiques humains.
