The invention relates to an acoustic probe (100) for treating cancerous tissue, for introduction into a natural or surgically created cavity in the patient, in close proximity to a tissue area which includes cancerous cells. The probe includes an acoustic transmitter (4) arranged for transmitting an acoustic signal having characteristics which causes damage of said cancerous cells and means for administering chemotherapeutic substances. The invention further relates to a corresponding method and a system for treating cancerous tissue. The use of the invention may be combined with the use of encapsulated cytostatica within micelles or therapeutic molecules.

L'invention a trait à une sonde acoustique (100) permettant de traiter des tissus cancéreux, destinée à être introduite dans une cavité naturelle ou créée chirurgicalement du corps d'un patient, située à proximité immédiate d'une zone tissulaire comportant les cellules cancéreuses. La sonde selon l'invention comprend un émetteur acoustique (4) adapté de manière à émettre un signal acoustique possédant des caractéristiques endommageant lesdites cellules cancéreuses, et des moyens destinés à administrer des substances chimiothérapeutiques. L'invention se rapporte également à des procédé et système correspondants destinés à traiter un tissu cancéreux. L'utilisation de la sonde selon l'invention peut être combinée à l'utilisation d'un cytostatique encapsulé dans des micelles ou des molécules thérapeutiques.
