This invention provides therapeutic treatments that prevent or ameliorate thrombocytopenia based on administration of small RNA fragments. More specifically, this invention provides an improved chemotherapeutic regimen that prevents or ameliorates bone marrow suppression and thrombocytopenia induced by anti-cancer drugs, wherein the chemotherapeutic regimen incorporates administration of small RNA fragments. Further, the present invention provides a therapeutic treatment for thrombocytopenia associated with immune disorders known as Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura based on administration of small RNA fragments.
La présente invention concerne des traitements thérapeutiques qui permettent d'éviter ou d'améliorer une thrombocytopénie grâce à l'administration de petits fragments d'ARN. Plus spécifiquement, la présente invention concerne un régime chimiothérapique amélioré qui évite ou qui réduit la destruction de la moelle osseuse et la thrombocytopénie induite par les médicaments anticancéreux, ledit régime chimiothérapique comprenant l'administration de petits fragments d'ARN. En outre, la présente invention concerne un traitement thérapeutique de la thrombocytopénie associée aux troubles immunitaires appelés purpuras thrombocytopéniques immuns basé sur l'administration de petits fragments d'ARN.
