ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE New benzoic acid derivatives are disclosed which have the general formula (I) Image wherein Y is H (except when X = OH) or Image and X si OH (except when Y=H), -NH2, anilino or anilino substituted in the ring with a chlorine or an ethoxy group, and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof. These compounds have antianaphylactic activity. Methods of preparation are also disclosed.
