Selon le procédé, on projette par voie pneumatique, d'abord sur la paroi interne (1) de l'enceinte thermique, un isolant fibreux léger (7) et ensuite, sur la couche d'isolant continue et sans joint (7), ainsi obtenue, un matériau réfractaire lourd (9) qui vient en prise sur des moyens d'ancrage (3) fixés à la paroi (1). Le matériau réfractaire (9) est fabriqué par voie sèche et mouillé juste avant d'être projeté. Figure 3.
