A water purifier having a thermal exchange electronic module including a housing, water inlet valves, purification and sterilization chambers and a reservoir. Water is directed through the valves into the purification and sterilization chambers and therefrom into the reservoir. The module includes a semiconductor member arranged to operate according to Peltier's effect whereby the semiconductor member is electrically activated such that a first end coupled to the reservoir is cooled, to thereby cool the water in the reservoir, and a second, opposed end is heated. A finned heat exchanger is connected to the second, heated end of the semiconductor member and a ventilation fan directs a medium such as air over the finned heat exchanger to remove heat from the finned heat exchanger received from the second, heated end of the semiconductor member. In the purifier, cooled water is dispensed through a faucet fluidly coupled to the reservoir.
L'invention porte sur un purificateur d'eau. L'appareil comprend un module électronique d'échange thermique composé d'un boîtier, des vannes d'admission d'eau, des chambres de purification et de stérilisation et un réservoir. L'eau est dirigée par les vannes d'admission jusqu'aux chambres de purification et de stérilisation et puis vers le réservoir. Le module comprend un élément semiconducteur fonctionnant selon le principe de l'effet Peltier. Le semiconducteur est activé électriquement de sorte qu'une première extrémité refroidie est raccordée au réservoir, refroidissant ainsi l'eau qui y est stockée; la seconde extrémité de l'élément est chauffée. Un échangeur thermique à ailettes est raccordé à la seconde extrémité chauffée de l'élément conducteur, et une soufflerie de ventilation pousse un médium, par exemple de l'air, au-dessus de l'échangeur thermique à ailettes afin d'y récupérer la chaleur provenant de l'extrémité chauffée de l'élément semiconducteur. Dans le purificateur, l'eau refroidie est distribuée par un robinet en communication fluide avec le réservoir.
