ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A thermal insulating frame comprises two pairs of inter- connected horizontal and vertical pieces each of which consist of an interior members of thermal insulating material and an exterior member of metal joined directly with the interior member, The interior members of at least three of the frame pieces have an identical cross-sectional shape. Surface areas of each interior member which are exposed to the air are coated with a layer of weatherproofing material. The advance in the art is in simplification of the assembling of the frame combined with an increased degree of strength of the frame and relatively low manufacturing costs. - 14 -
