A B S T R A C T THERMAL INSULATION OF CAVITIES This invention relates to a method for providing thermal insulation between a plurality of spaced apart surfaces having an air-filled cavity between them, which comprises introducing into said cavity cellular particles of expanded polymer and a synthetic polymer latex binder, wherein the latex binder has a minimum film forming temperature not greater than O°C, and to the resultant insulated cavities.
