A seal (44) is provided between a nozzle (20) and a manifold (12). The seal (44) provides a melt channel between an outlet (18) of manifold (12) and a nozzle channel (22). The seal (44) has higher thermal expansion coefficient than both the nozzle (20) and the manifold (12) to provide an improved seal between the manifold (12) and the nozzle (20) when the injection molding apparatus is at an operating temperature.

L'invention concerne un joint d'étanchéité (44) monté entre une buse (20) et un collecteur (12). Ce joint d'étanchéité (44) constitue un filet de la zone de fusion entre une sortie (18) du collecteur (12) et un canal de la buse (22). Ce joint d'étanchéité (44) présente un coefficient de dilatation thermique supérieur à ceux de la buse (20) et du collecteur (12) pour constituer un joint d'étanchéité amélioré entre le collecteur (12) et la buse (20) lorsque l'appareil de moulage par injection présente une température de fonctionnement.
