THERMAL SPRAY POWDERED COMPOSITE Abstract of the Disclosure A composite powder suitable for use in thermal spray applications as a wear and/or corrosion resistant coating comprising chromic oxide, magnesium oxide, iron oxide, titanium oxide, and aluminum oxide. More specifically there is provided a complex composition powder comprising by weight, from about 40% to 50% Cr2O3, about 1 to 10% MgO, about 2 to 10% Fe2O3, about 1 to 10% TiO2 and about 5 to 40% Al2O3.
