THERMALLY AND ACOUSTICALLY INSULATING STRUCTURE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved thermally and acoustically insulating structure provides both a high average acoustical transmission loss for incoming sounds of particularly low frequency range and a thermally insulating and anti-dewing effects. The structure includes at least three glass sheets defining air spaces of different width therebetween, the air enclosed in the spaces circulating therebetween through air passages to be kept dry and at least one air space having means to prevent the effect of Newton's rings of beams of light incident on the outer glass sheet. - 1 -
