A package is provided for an optical fiber that includes a Bragg grating. The package includes a retaining member that supports the optical fiber and contacts the optical fiber along at least substantially the entire length of the Bragg grating. A housing is provided which is adapted to receive the retaining member therein. The housing has a conductivity below that of the retaining member so that the Bragg grating is maintained at a substantially uniform temperature.

L'invention concerne un boîtier pour une fibre optique comprenant un réseau de Bragg. Ledit boîtier comporte un élément de retenue supportant la fibre optique et en contact avec la fibre optique le long d'au moins sensiblement la longueur intégrale du réseau de Bragg. Une enceinte conçue pour recevoir l'élément de retenue est également prévue. Ladite enceinte présente une conductivité inférieure à celle de l'élément de retenue, de sorte que le réseau de Bragg soit maintenu à une température sensiblement homogène.
