ABSTRACT "Thermo-bed is the essential feature of a bed specifically designed, or a conventional bed so modified, that a person or persons sleeping therein or thereon will be protected from contact with chilled surfaces through the provision in the structure of the bed, or by the attachment to the bed, of a heat-exchanging arrangement whereby the heat from the regular hot water system or from some other source is transferred to the bed in a safe and controlled manner and in such a way that the sleeper suffers no discomfort or risk of undesirable chilling, or risk, or fear of risk, from elictric shock or fire.
