Abstract THERMO STORAGE WATER HEATER HAVING EXTENDED HEAT WITHDRAWAL A stored energy heater utilizing one or more tanks (6, 7) for containing the recirculated liquid storage medium. Each heater consists of a "master" (16) and "slave" (18) tank unit. The master incorporates a con- centric tube heat exchanger (20) for heating system fluid. Predetermined tank heigth/diameter ratios, liquid return location and an internal standpipe (52) with two storage outflow openings (41, 50) establish control of storage media temperature and heater fluid "flashing". Storage tank re-circulation rates are adjusted by system fluid heat requirements.
