A thermocoustic device (110) includes a housing (120) with a thermal core supported in the housing and having a first and a second surface. The thermal core includes a first heat exchanger (112) defining the first surface of the thermal core and a second heat exchanger (116) defining the second surface of the thermal core. A main chamber is in fluid communication with the first surface of the thermal core and a secondary multiplier chamber is in fluid communication with the second surface of the thermal core. A working volume (144) of a gaseous working fluid fills the main chamber, the multiplier chamber, and the thermal core at a pressure. An equilibrium pressure is defined as the pressure of the working volume of gaseous working fluids with the thermoacoustic device is in a non-operating mode.
L'invention concerne un dispositif thermo-acoustique (110) comprenant un boîtier (120) présentant un noyau thermique logé dans le boîtier et ayant une première et une seconde surface. Le noyau thermique comprend un premier échangeur thermique (112) définissant la première surface du noyau thermique ayant un second échangeur thermique (116) définissant la seconde surface du noyau thermique. Une chambre principale est en communication par fluide avec la première surface du noyau thermique et une chambre auxiliaire de multiplication est en communication par fluide avec la seconde surface du noyau thermique. Un volume de travail (144) d'un fluide thermodynamique gazeux remplit la chambre principale, la chambre de multiplication et le noyau thermique à une pression donnée.
