ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Disclosed herein is a crystallized, thin-wall container which is excellent in heat-resistance, oil-resistance, chemical stability under high temperature and high humidity and gas impermeability, is particularly suitable for heating foodstuffs packaged in it in electronic range, electric oven, etc. and is obtained by thermoforming a substantially amorphous sheet which has a crystallinity index of below 15% and an elongation of not less than 100% at room temperature and is obtained from a poly(arylene sulfide) which has a substantially linear structure, has not less than 70 wt% of a repeating unit of Image and a logarithmic viscosity number of 0.2 to 1.0 in a solution of 1-chloronaphthalene (concentration of 0.4 g/dl at a temperature of 208°C) and a process for producing the container. -26-
