Abstract of the Disclosure An article of manufacture comprises a thermoplastic com- posite including a reinforcing fiber in a poly(arylene sulfide) matrix comprising an uncured, high molecular weight poly(arylene sulfide) resin and a cured poly(arylene sulfi- de) resin. This produces a composite having an improved combination of toughness and resin/fiber adhesion.
