ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A thermoplastic composition having an excellent balance of mechanical and thermal properties, an improved impact strength, a good flowability in the molten state and a good processability, comprising: - at least a polyphenylene ether resin (A); - at least a modified polyamide (B) obtained by anionic polymerization of a omega-lactam in the presence of an organic diisocyanate, and, optionally, - a further polymeric additive.
