ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Thermoplastic compositions and articles made therefore which have a high receptivity toward automotive paints comprises components (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e), wherein, for example, 2% - 25% (a) is a copolymer of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and ethylene, 3% - 50% (b) is an elastomer comprising an ethylene - alpha-olefin copolymer, 0% - 55% (c) is a crystalline homopolymer or copolymer of propylene, 5% - 50% (d) is an inorganic filler, and 10% - 35% (e) is polyethylene or a copolymer of ethylene and an alpha-olifin. Such articles, when injection molded, exhibit flexural moduli in the range of 30,000 to 400,000 psi and have excellent paintability, a broad range of stiffness values and high impact and tensile strengths suitable for automotive applications such as bumpers and facias and wheel covers.
