A thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising (I) 100 parts by weight of at least one block copolymer formed by addition polymerization which is selected among block copolymers which comprise a polymer block (A) consisting of aromatic vinyl units and a polymer block (B) consisting of conjugated diene compound units and which have been crosslinked in the polymer block (A) preferably with a structural unit derived from a (C1-C8 alkyl)styrene and/or functional group and among products of hydrogenation of the copolymers, (II) 10 to 300 parts by weight of a polyolefin, and (III) 0 to 300 parts by weight of a softener (III) for rubbers; and a process for producing the composition. The composition has excellent strain recovery at high temperatures and satisfactory moldability, is flexible,and has satisfactory rubber properties. It is effectively useable in various applications.
L'invention concerne une composition élastomère thermoplastique comprenant : (I) 100 parties en poids d'au moins un copolymère séquencé formé par polymérisation par addition, qui est sélectionné parmi des copolymères séquencés qui comprennent une séquence de polymère (A) constituée d'unités vinyliques aromatiques et une séquence de polymère (B) constituée d'unités qui sont des composés diène conjugués et qui ont, de préférence, été réticulés dans la séquence de polymère (A), avec une unité structurale et/ou un groupe fonctionnel dérivé d'un (alkyle C¿1-8?)styrène, et également parmi des produits de l'hydrogénation des copolymères ; (II) 10 à 300 parties en poids d'une polyoléfine ; et (III) 0 à 300 parties en poids d'un plastifiant (III) pour caoutchoucs. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'une telle composition. Cette composition a une forte capacité de reprise élastique après contrainte à des températures élevées, elle présente une bonne aptitude au moulage, elle est souple et présente de bonnes caractéristiques conformes à celle du caoutchouc. Elle peut faire efficacement l'objet de différentes utilisations.
