ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Joint sealing compositions based on block copoly- mers of an elastic central block of polybutadiene or polyisoprene with polystyrene grafted thereon, a con- tent of elastomers and solvents, and optionally stan- dard auxiliaries (synthetic thermoplasts, fillers, thixotropicizing agents, adhesion promoters, antiagers and the like). The compositions also contain, based on the composition as a whole, from 0.3 to 25% by weight of a copoloymer of methacrylates of aliphatic monoalco- hols containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms. The alcohol component contains a calculated average of from 1.5 to 3.0 carbon atoms and the molar proportion of methanol in the alcohol component is at least 25%.
