A B S T R A C T Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer containing a cross- linked polyepihalohydrin rubber made by simultaneously cross- linking the rubber and blending the rubber with a crystalline polyolefin in the presence of a chlorinated hydrocarbon having a chlorine content of about 20% to about 70% by weight. The composition of this invention is a thermoplastic elastomer that displays good elastic properties, can be easily processed by molding techniques, such as extrusion and injection molding, and is remoldable like a typical thermoplastic.
