THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERS FROM RECYCLED POLYESTERS Abstract of the Disclosure There is provided a process for utilizing scrap poly- (ethylene terephthalate) and converting it into a useful thermo- plastic polyester elastomer. It comprises the steps of glycolizing scrap poly(ethylene terephthalate) to an oligomeric material and melt copolymerizing the oligomeric material with a poly(alkylene ether) glycol. The product is useful in making various articles, for example garden hose. -1-
