The invention relates to a thermoplastic filament for bristles, which exhibit increased humidity when used, comprising a polymer mixture consisting of at least one polyamide (PA) and at least one thermoplastic polyester (PE), whose proportion of ingredients is selected in accordance with the technical- functional properties relevant to the use of said bristles and in accordance with the ambient conditions relevant to the function of said bristles in the site of utilization.
