These elastomers are particularly useful in the automotive industry where they may be used to mold hydraulic hose, pulleys, brackets, engine mounts and the like. A thermoplastic polymer having a repeating unit of the formula (I), (II), (III) or (IV), where LG is a linking group and W is an oligomeric chain selected from the group consisting of polyether, a polythioether, polycarbonyl, or polysulfonyl, or a copolymer thereof.
