A flexible hose adapted construction for conveying fluids under pressure. The construction includes a core tube having a circumferential inner core tube surface and an opposing circumferential outer core tube surface. A first reinforcement layer surrounds the outer core tube surface, and is formed of one or more filaments of a first fiber. A second fiber reinforcement layer surrounds the first reinforcement layer, and is formed of one or more filaments of a second fiber. The first and second reinforcement layers are bonded together by means of a bonding agent such as an adhesive, resin, plasticizer, tackifier, or solvent, the application of which is controlled to wet only a portion of the filaments of the reinforcement layers. Also claimed is a hose constructed according to the above.

La présente invention concerne une construction adaptée de tuyaux flexibles conçus pour transporter des fluides sous pression. Ladite construction comprend un tube principal présentant une surface interne circulaire et une surface externe circulaire opposée. Une première couche de renforcement, qui vient entourer ladite surface externe du tube principal, est formée d'un ou plusieurs filaments d'une première fibre. Une seconde couche de renforcement en fibres, qui vient entourer ladite première couche de renforcement, est formée d'un ou plusieurs filaments d'une seconde fibre. La première et la seconde couche de renforcement sont liées l'une à l'autre au moyen d'un agent de liaison tel qu'un adhésif, de la résine, un plastifiant, un agent collant ou un solvant, lequel doit être appliqué de manière régulée de façon à ce qu'il ne mouille qu'une partie seulement des filaments des couches de renforcement.
