Abstract C-I-L 684 "Thermoplastic Shipping Sack" A single ply tubular shipping sack having walls formed of uni-axially oriented linear low density polyethylene, optionally blended with low density polyethylene, wherein said walls are produced by blowing and cold drawing said polyethylene at a draw ratio to blow ratio of greater than 1:1. The sack has acceptable tear resistance in contrast to the reduced tear resistance expected for uni-axially oriented polyethylene films.
