The invention relates to thermosetting compositions, especially for coverings or moulding purposes, comprising cross-linked polymer microparticles having a size ranging from 10 - 300 nm and including at least one reactive function that can react with at least one of the reactive compounds of the thermosetting composition. Preferably,said microparticles have at least a second reactive function that is distinct from the first and able to react with at least one other function of the first type contained by another microparticle and/or by a reactive constituent of the thermosetting composition. The microparticles are at least partially soluble and can be mixed and/or dispersed in the initial thermosetting composition. The preferred thermosetting compositions are of the epoxy/amine resin based variety or are based on unsaturated polyester resins and/or vinyl ester resins. The coverings or moulded objects thus obtained exhibit very good mechanical, thermal and chemical strength as a result of the presence of said particles.
L'invention concerne des compositions thermodurcissables, en particulier de revêtements ou de moulage, comprenant des microparticules de polymère réticulées de taille allant de 10 à 300 nm et portant au moins une fonction réactive qui peut réagir avec au moins un des composants réactifs de la composition thermodurcissable. De préférence, ces microparticules portent au moins une deuxième fonction réactive distincte de la première pouvant réagir avec au moins une autre fonction de même type portée par une autre microparticule et/ou par un composant réactif de la composition thermodurcissable. Ces microparticules sont au moins partiellement solubles, miscibles et/ou dispersibles dans la composition thermodurcissable de départ. Les compositions thermodur-cissables préférées sont à base de résines type époxy/amine ou de résines polyesters insaturés et/ou de résines vinyl esters. Les revêtements ou pièces moulées obtenus présentent une très bonne tenue mécanique, thermique et chimique, résultant de la présence de ces microparticules.
