ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A heating device has an insert (10), with which water flowing in through an inlet opening (6) is dampened before it flows down to an electrical heater (3). The heated water again flows into the upper part of the inner space (1e) of the heating device and, along a partition (1c), to the outlet (7), which is also arranged in the upper area. This arrangement guarantees that uniformly warm water, which can be fed to the shower arm of a bidet via a hose, is available for the longest possible time despite small overall height and compact design. 8:21728.1
