ABSTRACT In a thermostatic mixer tap there is a mixing chamber (18) connected to an outlet (4) by way of a mixed water valve (32). The cold water supply (2) is connected direct to the outlet (4) by way of a cold water conduit (34) having a cold water valve (35). The cold water valve (35) and the mixed water valve (33) are so interconnected that the cold water valve (35) can be opened only in one locking position of the mixed water valve (33). In this way, very cold water can be withdrawn even in the case of thermostatic mixer taps.
