THERMOSTATIC VALVE ABSTRACT A thermostatic valve comprises a valve housing (1) and a thermostat attachment (2) of which the foot of the base (7) has slots (11) open towards the end face and which is surrounded by a ring (17). The foot of the base has a bearing surface (29) with which it is pushed over a supporting surface (4) at a housing projection (3) and, beyond the slots (11) lies with an annular second bearing surface (31) against a second supporting surface (5) of the housing projection (3) which extends at least up to this point. This leads to a very high stability against transverse forces acting on the thermostat attachment (2). Fig.1.
