PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne des copolyester- amides aromatiques thermotropes conformables de masse moléculaire élevée. Ces copolyesteramides présentent une structure comprenant les unités de récurrence de formules (I), éventuellement (II), (III) et (IV), (I) désignant: Image avec R1 pouvant être un radical méthyle et/ou éthyle et/ou un atome de chlore et/ou un atome de brome, (II) désignant: Image ; (III) désignant: Image ; et (IV) désignant: Image ; et ils possèdent une température d'écoulement allant de 200 à 350°C. Ces copolyesteramides permettent d'obtenir des objets moulés, fils et films doués de bonnes propriétés mécaniques.
