Image (I) wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, R2, R3, R4, and R5, which may be the same or different, respectively are a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, A is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or an NH group, m is 0 or 1, and p is 0 or 1. This compound has a nitric oxide synthase inhibition activity.
