ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to the use of telenzepine and (+)- telenzepine in the treatment of bronchial diseases. Furthermore, the invention relates to (+)-telenzepine, a process for its preparation and intermediates for its preparation. Telenzepine has the formulas Image R-X (II) (I) (+)-Telenzepine is produced by reacting telenzepine with a chiral compound R-X (II, in which X represents a leaving group and R represents a chiral radical) to form the intermediate diastereomer mixture of the formula: Image (III) separating the resulting diastereomer mixture and then liberating the chiral group R from the optically pure diastereomers.
