Compact disk holder (10) which holds and protects a compact disk, and yet is very thin. The holder has a bottom tray (12) with a disk resting area (13) which is impervious to dust. The center hub (15), when holding a compact disk, pulls the compact disk against the disk resting area of the bottom tray. Preferably, the bottom tray has an outer ring (22) near the outer edge of the compact disk outside of the CD's information containing area (16). The typical compact disk has a circular ridge (21) inside its information containing area, and the bottom tray is shaped so that this ridge is pulled against its surface so that no dust can get between the outer ridge on the tray and the inner ridge on the compact disk. The bottom tray is preferably free of a cover which further leads to its thin height.
L'invention concerne un support de disque (10) compact très mince permettant de stocker et de protéger un disque compact. Ledit support comprend un plateau inférieur (12) doté d'une zone de support (13) de disque étanche à la poussière. Un moyeu central (15), lorsqu'il porte un disque compact, pousse ledit disque contre la zone de support du plateau inférieur. Ledit plateau comprend, de préférence, un anneau extérieur (22) situé près du bord extérieur du disque compact à l'extérieur de la zone (16) contenant des informations de C.D. Un disque compact typique comprend une rainure circulaire (21) située à l'intérieur de la zone contenant des informations, et le plateau inférieur est formé de sorte que cette nervure est poussée vers la surface dudit plateau, la poussière ne pouvant de ce fait s'immiscer entre la rainure extérieure du plateau et la rainure intérieure du disque compact. Le plateau inférieur est, de préférence, exempt de couvercle, ce qui le rend très mince.
