ABSTRACT THIN SEAT BELT WEBBING AND METHOD Thinner seat belt webbing than conventional webbing is provided without a decrease in physical proper- ties. The webbing has a weft denier of less than 2/300 dtex or 1/600 dtex, the number of wefts is at least 70 per 10 cm and the warp is at least 2% shorter than the conventional webbing.
