To enhance the safety of battery, in a thin type battery, by securely cutting off electric connection when the internal pressure of the battery is raised. An upper valve disc and a lower valve disc are disposed through an electric insulating gasket, a part of the upper valve disc is formed in a recess shape, and a tiny hole and a continuous thin wall part are formed in a part of the lower valve disc, and the bottom of the recess part of the upper valve disc and the portion enclosed by the tiny hole and thin wall part of the lower valve disc are fused, and the structure is constituted so that the strength of the lower valve disc may be greater than the strength of the upper valve disc.

L'invention porte sur une batterie de faible épaisseur dans laquelle la sécurité est assurée par la mise hors circuit de la connexion électrique lorsque la pression interne augmente. Un joint d'étanchéité isolant vient s'intercaler entre des clapets supérieur et inférieur. Une partie du clapet supérieur est évidée tandis que l'on perce un petit trou et dispose une section de paroi mince, reliée à ce trou, dans une partie du clapet inférieur. La résistance du clapet inférieur est renforcée par rapport à celle du clapet supérieur par soudage de la section de moindre valeur qu'entourent les parois du trou et la section de paroi mince sur la surface inférieure de la section à évidement du clapet supérieur.
