A fabric reinforced, resilient brake diaphragm (37) for use in a fluid pressure operated braking system (11) is provided. The diaphragm (37) comprises an annular outer flange (39) for engaging the housing of the braking system, a bottom planar wall (43) having an interior surface for engaging the piston (16) of the braking system, an annular sidewall (41) connecting the outer flange (39) and the bottom planar wall (43) and a plurality of spaced planar tabs (45) disposed on the interior surface of the bottom planar wall extending radially from the intersection between the annular sidewall and the bottom planar wall toward the center of the interior surface. The diaphragm (37) has a thin-walled construction with the bottom planar wall (43) and annular sidewall (41) having a thickness of between approximately .06 inches and approximately .10 inches.
Cette invention concerne une membrane de frein (37) souple, renforcée par du tissu, qui s'utilise dans un circuit de freinage (11) commandé par fluide sous pression.
