A microorganism belonging to the genus Bacillus is cultured and novel thiopeptide compounds QN3323 and publicly known compounds thiocillin I/II, etc. are collected from the culture medium. Because of having a favorable antibacterial activity, these thiopeptide compounds are useful as drugs, in particular, remedies for infection with multidrug-resistant bacteria.
