Abstract A thiopyrano[2,3-b]indole derivative represented by the general formula: Image (wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different from each other and each represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; and the broken lines mean that both are single bonds, or either one of them is a double bond) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.
