Thread coupling for percussive drilling. The thread coupling comprises a first drill string element (2) with an internal thread (3) and a second drill string element (6) with a spigot (7) which is privided with an external thread (8) for cooperation with the internal thread (3). A contact surface (10) on the second drill string element (6) is lined with a wear resistant additional material which covers 50-100%, preferably 50-90%, of the contact surface. The wear resistant material is preferably a stellite which has been applied by means of plasma welding or which is a ring which has been soldered to the contact surface.
La présente invention concerne un couplage fileté destiné au forage par percussion. Dans ce couplage fileté, un premier élément (2) du train de tiges présente un filetage interne (3), et un second élément (6) du train de tiges présente une extrémité mâle d'emboîtement (7) dont le filetage externe (4) est destiné à coopérer avec le filetage interne (3). La surface de contact (10) du second élément (6) du train de tiges est revêtue d'une matière d'usure additionnelle recouvrant 50 % à 100 %, mais de préférence 50 % à 90 % de sa surface. Cette matière d'usure est de préférence, soit du stellite appliqué par soudage au plasma, soit une structure annulaire soudée sur la surface de contact.
