ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A thread-cutting device comprises a rod pro- vided with a head portion defining an inner circular edge on each side of which is adapted to bear a slider member, the slider members being concentrically mounted on the rod. A thread introcuced between the head and the end of the slider member in contact with the head is retained between these latter, whilst it passes over the stop and is cut.
