-6- THREADED BELLCRANK MOUNT Abstract An improvement in a linkage assembly (10) which comprises a bellcrank (12) pivotally mounted on a station- ary shaft (14). The improvement comprises first screw threads (38) on the stationary shaft (14) and second screw threads (40) on the bellcrank (12) mating with the first screw threads (38) to form the pivotal mounting of the bellcrank (12) to the stationary shaft (14) while substantially preventing axial motion of the bellcrank (12) relative to the stationary shaft (14) in the absence of relative flotation therebetween. Any play or looseness in the motion of the bellcrank (12) is thereby substan- tially eliminated.
