A threaded joint for steel pipes having excellent galling resistance, rust preventing properties, and airtightness without using a compound grease comprises a pin and a box each having a threaded portion and an unthreaded metal-to-metal contact portion serving as contact surfaces. The contact surfaces of at least one of the pin and the box are coated with a multi-layered structure comprising, from the bottom, a first layer formed from a first metal or alloy, a second layer formed from a second metal or alloy which is softer than the first metal or alloy, and an uppermost layer of a solid lubricating coating comprising a lubricating powder in an organic or inorganic binder.
L'invention concerne un joint fileté pour tuyaux en acier ayant une excellente résistance au grippage, d'excellentes propriétés de prévention de la rouille et une étanchéité excellente sans utiliser un composé graisseux qui comprend une partie mâle et un filetage femelle, chacune comportant une partie filetée et une partie de contact métal sur métal non filetée servant de surfaces de contact. Les surfaces de contact d'au moins une partie parmi la partie mâle et la partie femelle sont enduites avec une structure multi-couches qui comprend, en partant du bas, une première couche formée à partir d'un premier métal ou alliage, une seconde couche formée à partir d'un second métal ou alliage qui est plus molle que le premier métal ou alliage, et une couche supérieure d'un revêtement lubrifiant solide qui comprend une poudre lubrifiante dans une charge organique ou inorganique.
