-12- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE When fabricating apparatus from angle iron or similar shaped material, it is frequently useful to cut the material in complex shapes. In the past it has been necessary to make a first cut in one plane, rotate the material, and make a second cut holding the second portion of the material in the same plane as the first portion was in. In accordance with the present invention- tion, two cutting devices are so interrelated that a single pattern which represents the development of the desired cut may be used to control both of the torches to produce a cut on both portions of the material without repositioning the material between cuts. This is accomplished by moving one cutting device in a first plane including a first surface of the material to be cut and a second cutting device in a second plane in- cluding the second surface of the material to be cut.
