The invention provides a fabric (10) comprising a porous layer (15) that is porous in the direction along the layer, the porous layer including fibres (16) extending across the layer, whereby, in use, fluid (A) is arranged to be driven along the porous layer in the general extent of the layer. The fabric allows heat from a body in contact with the fabric to be carried along the porous layer, thereby efficiently cooling the body. The invention also provides articles comprising the fabric, such as clothing. Advantageously, the fabric is lightweight, flexible and non-bulky, and provides efficient cooling of the body.
Cette invention concerne un tissu (10) comportant une couche poreuse (15), qui est poreux dans le sens de la longueur de la couche. La couche poreuse comprend des fibres (16) qui s'étendent en travers de la couche si bien que, pendant l'utilisation, un liquide (A) est arrangé pour s'écouler le long de la couche poreuse sur toute l'étendue de la couche. Le tissu permet à la chaleur qui se dégage d'un corps en contact avec le tissu de s'évacuer le long de la couche poreuse, ce qui refroidit efficacement le corps. L'invention concerne en outre des articles comprenant le tissu, tels qu'un article vestimentaire. Pour plus d'efficacité, le tissu est léger, souple et de faible encombrement, et assure un refroidissement efficace du corps.
