A three-dimensional processing device can measure three-dimensionally the contour of a person's face including hair by laser beams without the necessity of the person to be measured to move or to fit into a specific line for measuring. In order to move a person to the required position, a positioning device, for example a backboard, is fixed adjacent to this required position. Positioning is performed by leaning against the backboard or by providing a concave part on the backboard and fitting one's shoulder into the concave part. A laser scanner is installed on a scanner stand so that it is possible to move it forward, backward, up, down, left and right. It is possible to distinguish the backboard from hair, from which laser beams are not reflected by making the backboard black or almost black. It is then possible to measure a shape of a person by reflection of the laser beams off the backboard.
