A optical power meter is to measure optical power. A optical extension ratio meter is to measure laser or fibber polarisation ratio of fast axis to slow axis and angle. In this invention. It is to make a meter that can measure optical power and extension ratio. The different is to measure three fixed polarisation status powers. For example 0°, 45°, 90°. Then use micro processor to calculate the power, extension ratio and angle instead of using motor to find fast axis and slow axis and angle. This advantage is easy to manufacture, stable for measurement , low cost and realise power meter and extension ratio meter into one meter.
