THREE WAY DRYWALL CORNER TRIM ABSTRACT A corner trim member (A) for use in drywall or other sheet wall construction. The corner trim (A) has at least two wall members (10) joining each other along a common edge (13,14) so that each wall member (10) can overlay a corresponding corner portion of mutually-orthogonal drywall panels. Each side member (10) of the trim has a relatively thick portion (11) extending from a corner common to the wall members (10), and a second portion (10a) of reduced thickness relative to the first portion (11). The difference in thickness of the two portions is substantially equal to the thickness of a conventional cornerbead member with which the trim is used. Those cornerbead members overlay the relatively thin portion of the trim, so that the cornerbead is substantially flush with the relatively thick portions of the cap. The present trim thus provides structural underpinning for drywall finishing mud applied to a wall corner covered by the trim.

La différence entre les épaisseurs des deux parties est pratiquement égale à l'épaisseur d'un élément de cornière classique avec lequel la moulure est utilisée. Ces éléments de cornière recouvrent la partie relativement mince de la moulure, de sorte que la cornière soit pratiquement à niveau par rapport aux parties relativement épaisses du chapeau. Cette moulure constitue ainsi un élément d'étayage structural pour le plâtre de finition de cloison sèche appliqué à un angle de mur recouvert par la moulure.
