24742-44 ABSTRACT In order to create a three-way valve for distributing or reswitching volumetric flows in bivalent heating systems or heat storage devices, a valve housing incorporates an inlet and two outlets, and a double valve insert, by means of which it is possible to connect either of two outlets with the inlet, the valve shaft that retains the two valve bodies being axially adjustable by means of an adjusting element of simple construction which simplifies installation possibilities, in particular integration into pipe systems. The inlet and the outlets are arranged transversely to the valve shaft, the inlet being formed by a connector that is joined rigidly to the housing, and the outlets being formed by connectors that can be rotated about the midline axis of the housing.
